Bullet for my Valentine

The first Bullet song I heard was called Hearts Burst into Fire, and I was amazed as soon as I heard the slow intro slam into the fast riff work that permeates a lot of their songs.  Their amazing guitar play is really highlighted in Hearts.  The lead singer, Matt Tuck, transitions nicely from regular singing to classic rock screaming, best illustrated in the songs Tears Don't Fall and Suffocating Under Sorrow.  Powerful drums support their music quite well.  While some of their lyrics tend towards being emo, as in songs like Tears of Blood or All These Things I Hate (Revolve Around Me), on the whole they provide some kick ass metal.  The song Scream Aim Fire really highlights their metal side.

My suggestion is to listen to the above mentioned songs if you are interested in a new metal band and can tolerate their occasional emo tendancies.
